Our Principal

Dear Cedar Hill High School Scholars, Families & Staff,

I am truly honored to write this letter as the newly named principal of Cedar Hill High School. I am excited to join Longhorn Nation, and I am looking forward to meeting our scholars, staff and parents. I have been a school administrator for seventeen years. I join CHHS from Ferris ISD, where I most recently served as the high school principal.  The safety of our students, staff and visitors is my primary responsibility. I want all scholars and staff to be safe and feel safe while on our campus and at campus events. I am committed to working with our great staff to implement processes and communicate expectations with all Longhorns. 

I want each scholar to be challenged academically so they are prepared for their career or college path. To obtain this goal, we will need to collaborate so we are all prepared to raise the expectations of scholars.  I am confident that together, we can make Cedar Hill High School an even better place for our scholars to learn and grow. I am hitting the ground running as my first day at Cedar Hill High School will be Monday, June 12, 2023. There is much to be done this summer to prepare for the start of school on August 14. I will be planning a few meet and greet events this summer to get to know some of our staff, families, and scholars before the summer break ends.
