NO unexcused late work will be accepted. A grade of 0 will be entered for unexcused late work. 

It is the Scholar's responsibility to check Schoology for make up work for excused absences. Work for excused absences must be turned in on time with the new deadline or the work will not be accepted.  

Scholars must discuss with me any issues they are having if they need extra time beyond the due date, if it is not discussed with me prior to the due date, it is assumed they do not need extra time (unless of course they have an IEP stating they have extra time.) 

Ample class time is given to complete assignments. There is no need to take work home, unless the scholar is advanced, or had an issue and discussed with me and has been approved to take home artwork. If the scholar brings back artwork that does not align with the artistic abilities they show during class it will not be accepted. 

Art 1 Marking Period 1

Weeks 1 - 2  Getting to know each other activities. Design portfolios, Classroom and school expectations. Photo fun due 5 photos. Sketchbook requirements.  Themed Collage, must contain examples of artwork scholar likes, goals, hobbies and dreams.  Weekly Reflection. 

Sculpture & Ceramics 2, Honors Sculpture & Ceramics 3 &4 Marking Period 1
