Mr. Spencer

Greetings, Longhorn family and friends,

My name is Professor Freddie Spencer Cedar Hill Class of 05

The best way(s) to contact me: Email me anytime. Call me during my planning period.

Best time to contact me: Evenings and afternoons

I am all about Cedar Hill, starting my education at Ceder Hill Highlands Elementary to graduating from Cedar Hill High School. I appreciate the opportunity to help young people understand why we still need to know math.

Cedar Hill is my home, where I grew up to be the professional I am today. The life lessons I learned in this community taught me well. My goal is to make sure the next generation receive not something similar that makes me grate but something even better!

I graduated with a B.S. from Texas College and Southern University A&M College. While at Texas College, I played football, joined the fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha Inc., Beta Kappa Chi, Ronald E. McNair, became SGA Vice President, a student ambassador, sang in the show choir., also President of the Math Club, President of the Young Adults for Christ club for multiple years.

In what many say is the most challenging subject, I say just the most misunderstood.

In the 15-plus years of teaching

I have taught at many schools and Universities, and I am currently teaching at some Universities and Colleges. A list of schools I have taught at DCCCD, Mountian View College, Richland College, Northwood University,  Baton Rouge Community College, Paul Quinn College, Southern University A&M, ITT-Tech (multiple sites), Dogan Middle School, Amite High School, UME Prep High School. I have taught grades, starting with 3rd to college. Teaching many different classes ranging from third grade Math 3 to College Calculus.

I have been honored to serve in several leadership roles, from coaching multiple sports, mentoring, tutoring, sponsoring several classes, and leading and managing (groups, teachers, depts., clubs, and organizations).

Rhapsodic  to be a LONGHORN
