Mrs. Grettel Romero

I have been with Cedar Hill ISD for 22 years. After working as a substitute for 1 year, I decided that I wanted to work with special needs students. I served as an Inclusion Aide across the district at High Pointe Elementary, Beltline Intermediate and Permenter Middle School before transitioning to a C.B.I. Paraprofessional at both Permenter & Bessie Coleman Middle schools.   When C.B.I. changed to S.K.I.L.L., I left the classroom setting to work as an Assessment Clerk in the Special Education department at Administration for 2 years. After changes in the program, I was presented with the opportunity to broaden my knowledge in the district as an Attendance Clerk at the High School where I have been since.   Away from CHISD, I love spending time with my husband, 2 sons and daughter. My greatest joy is spending my weekends with my 2 granddaughters and 2 grandsons.   If asked why I love being apart of Cedar Hill ISD...it's seeing the students that I have known over the years and hoping that I played a small positive role in their lives as they enter the Real World.
