Greetings and Salutations for the 2023-24 School Year:
My name is Scipio McElroy and I am the 10th Grade Counselor here at CHHS. And let me tell you, It Is A Great Day To Be A Longhorn!
Let me share a little bit about myself. I received my Bachelors degree from the University of Texas in Arlington in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Since starting my career in Education 23 years ago, I have also earned two Master's degrees, one in Counseling and one in Mind, Brain Education, from Prairie View A&M University and the University of Texas at Arlington, respectively.
I am a mother of 3 - two boys and one girl. My daughter is in the 10th grade and both of my boys have graduated are in college. I have a new furbaby named Deuce; he is a Cane Corso/Pitbull and a huge baby. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family of 5 plus a dog and watching television or reading a great Paranormal book. I have really become fascinated with cooking shows like Crime Scene Kitchen and Next Level Chef. I have rewatched all seasons of both twice. Guess what - I still can't cook.
