Mrs. Elizabeth Judd

Elizabeth Judd is in her sixth year at Cedar Hill ISD.  She is extremely excited to teach the High School Orchestra, Musical Theatre and AP Music Theory and continue growing the program.  Mrs. Judd has 35 years of experience in education.  She  has taught  in Brock ISD as the Junior High Theatre and Art teacher.  From 2015-2017 she was an adjunct teacher at Tarrant County College and Sauk Valley College in Dixon, IL.  Mrs. Judd spent 20 years in Illinois directing the band, choir, jazz band, and percussion ensemble.  From 2009-2015 she taught at Rock Falls High School and from 1995-2009 she taught at Eastland High School.  Mrs. Judd's music programs have won numerous awards, including Music Sweepstakes in IL.  She started her teaching career in Duncanville, Tx from 1988-1995 so it is wonderful to be back close to where it all began.

Mrs. Judd earned a Bachelors degree in Music Education from the University of Texas at Arlington.  Her Masters of Music Education was earned from VanderCook College of Music.  She played in all musical ensembles while at school, and earned 2nd place in the IIT fight song competition.  

Sewing and hiking are favorite pastimes of Mrs. Judd.  She makes clergy stoles for pastors and is an avid quilter.  She and her husband have three grown children and one grandchild.
