Dr. E. Jones

Hola. Gracias por visitar la pagina de mi facultad. Mi nombre is Dr. Jones and this is my 3rd year teaching Spanish at Cedar Hill High School.

I was born in Chicago, Ill. I lived in northern California and moved to North Texas as a teen with my parents and family. 

I graduated from David W. Carter High School and matriculated through college to obtain a bachelor's degree, two masters' degrees and two doctorate degrees in ministry, where I studied the languages of Hebrew and Greek. I am a proud graduate of Prairie View A & M  University where I earned an EMBA and I am a candidate to receive a Doctorate at Southern Methodist University on my research on retention strategies in education.

I love to read books, learn different languages and study different cultures. Other languages that I have taught were Swahili, Patois. I am currently learning Korean, Japanese, and French. 

I am excited to share my love for learning diverse languages and studying diverse cultures with our Cedar hill High School Scholars

I am a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.  which is a national sorority founded by seven educators in 1922 and has served as a home for thousands of collegiate and professional women looking for a place to share inspiring life experiences, learn new things, conquer life challenges, thrive in society, and uplift the community through sisterhood, scholarship, and service.  I am a member of Nu Gamma Tau Society, Inc., which is a professional academic organization of educators and entrepreneurs who support the pursuit of college education, career entrepreneurship, and community empowerment.
