Ms. Jessica Brinkley

Greeting Longhorn Family

My name is Jessica Brinkley.

I am a graduate of Ashford University where I received my Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Early Childhood Education. I am new to Cedar Hill ISD as I started teaching October 2022 as a first time teacher. I previously worked in the mortgage industry for 12+ years. I will teach Psychology, AP Psychology, Sociology and Advanced Social Studies. 

I expect my students to better understand how Psychology and Sociology plays a key role in our everyday lives. I want them to learn how  to better understand themselves as well as others. I expect my students to utilize this information to their advantage as young adults manuvering through life to become mature adults contributing to society.

I have an open door policy where I am availabe for my students whenever they may need. I allow my students to ask questions and implement their own personal thoughts and ideas into our daily lectures. 

I look forward to learning and teaching each and every student for years to come. It is the most rewarding feeling to see the accomplishments of our students through their daily work in school and their work outside of school. Thank you for the opportunity to make a difference in your child's life.
